Rising senior @ a non-target trying to secure a ft analyst position w/ little relevant experience. Need as much help as I can ge

I am currently a rising senior, graduating May 2015 from a non-target. I am double majoring in finance and risk management/insurance. I currently hold a 3.5 and am an active member in my university's investment club.

This summer I acquired an internship at an investment brokerage firm where I am the intern assisting the VP of Investments with everyday tasks and market research.

Looking for any advice from anyone that came from the University of South Carolina and broke into any sort of investment banking/private equity/Asset Management role with credentials that mirror mine.

I would also like to know what you think my chances are (slim to none) of breaking into investment banking at all. I mean even at the smallest level. Would I be applying to the analyst programs as a graduate (even though my experience doesn't consist of a junior year summer ib analyst role)? or do I have better luck applying to boutiques as an entry level.

Anyone out there that can lend a hand?

i am an asian studies major at a target school, lower gpa than you and have 5 interviews set up within the first week i applied to places. Calling alumni at banks is your best bet to get your resume thorugh the back door, you've got just as good chance as anyone

of course you have 5 interviews, you're applying from a target...there are humanities majors at targets with no finance knowledge or experience getting multiple interviews at BB...when you're coming from a non target its a completely different game, no comparison.

I wish i could shove my dick so far up your dick that it creates a gaping vagina, because that's who you are. Just tell them that you're a ginormous douche-canoe with a gaping vagina. They'll understand.
