Probably too late for any major company, but if you have any family friends may be able to find a random family-owned finance or accounting firm. Otherwise look for one for during the school year and just get a job as a waiter or something this summer.

Think other posters might’ve assumed you’re looking for the main SA internship (junior summer), and in that case it’s wrapped up. If I’m correct and you’re looking for a internship for post sophomore year, you should be good. Most major banks only hire diversity for sophomore summer analysts though, so would need to target more boutique banks if that doesn’t fit your profile. Note: internship postings for your junior summer (2025 SA) will be in your spring semester, so stay on the look out for that.

Rising sophomore here. Assuming I should start applying right now then? What typically goes on with recruiting during fall semester of sophomore year if I am supposed to start this early and junior summer doesn't start until the spring?

I know this is old but when do applications for sophomore summer open?

Tbh, I’m not exactly sure but I think around September (definitely fact check though). Note that the major banks fill that internship almost entirely with diverse candidates, so you’ll want to target smaller boutique shops by essentially just cold emailing a lot of people at different firms.
