SA 2025 Recruiting in Recession

Sophomore at Semi-Target here - Obviously not a macroeconomist but it seems Q1-Q2 of next year will be a period of stagflation/slow growth/potentially in a recession. I was wondering. if someone with more expirience in the industry knows how this will impact summer analyst class sizes for banks and PE firms that recruit during those time periods. Thanks y'all.

Tldr: How does bad economic environment effect the # of kids banks/PE shops take?
