Hi, I'm in the negotiation stage for a senior associate role at a private credit fund and they've asked me what my salary expectation are. I've searched through a few sites online, but the ranges are very wide. What kind of number should be expecting and how should I respond?

Depends on how big of a shop? AUM? Most recent fund size? Do they do senior only or do they unitranche and mezzanine/equity co-invests? Which city? And are most associates and above post IB?
