Scrap My Stock Pitch???
During an interview I was asked to pitch a stock, and the associate interviewing me shit on it. He thought the the business model is strong and that I did good research, but the valuation was way too rich. This was a company with a 32 PE, 17 Fwd PE and 10-15% revenue growth in the consumer sector.
Should I scrap the pitch based on this guys opinion?
Should I avoid companies with high multiples? Do you exclusively pitch value stocks? If so, do you have any recommendations??
> Do you exclusively pitch value stocks?
most of the times, I've been told that it's better to focus on small-mid cap companies that are good value stocks. also depends on the fund, you don't want to pitch a value stock to a fund that focuses on short selling or wants a short for the interview
got any names that I can take a look at?
