Should I study operations engineering with a concentration in Financial Engineering at undergraduate level at Columbia?
Hey, so in one of the colleges I got into, Claremont McKenna, I can do a 3/2 programme where I study economics at CMC for 3 years and then going to Columbia for 2 years to get a BS from the engineering department. Do you think studying operations research with a concentration in financial engineering at undergrad is worth it or will it be a waste of time? Should I do another form of engineerings like electrical or computer engineering/science?will I get the same employment prospectus as let's say an econ major from Columbia college? please share any other opinions you have that might be useful
I think Columbia FE guys get better jobs than econ.
