Sophomore Hedge Fund Internship - Non-Target State School, Asset Management Experience

Hello fellow monkeys,

I am currently a sophomore at a non-target state school and I was looking for some advice on how to break into hedge funds. I am currently an (unpaid) intern at a boutique Asset Management firm with $1.2B AUM. How could I prepare myself for recruitment season? I am currently reaching out to alumni and asking about what they do at their firms and how they broke in. I am also studying for my series 65 and will pass the test before school starts.
