Starting a new job and scared shitless - how to manage self doubt?
After a three year stint in consulting, I was tired of packing suitcases. But the grind was worth it.
After a short search period, I was able to land exactly the job I wanted in industry. Compensation, work culture, colleagues almost every aspect seems to be a perfect fit from the outside.
However, I still have the lingering doubt of how I will perform in a different environment. After 3 years traveling from place to place on my own and managing most of my own projects, I am now expected to not only work with a team but also manage three junior colleagues.
For any of you that made a jump early on in your career, how did you manage this self-doubt?
