Steps I should take during the summer for no FT offer?

Currently interning at a group where I was told return offers weren’t great last year. Given the current market climate, I can’t imagine this summer being much better. Going to try my best to land the offer, but I want to start planning contingencies for the somewhat likely event that it doesn’t happen. Should I focus on networking elsewhere, studying the GMAT for an MSF, or just not worry about it and pray for the best? I genuinely love my firm and would accept if I earned an offer, but I figure it would be better to plan now so I don’t get caught on the back foot come August.

In a similar boat, it's weird too because people say hit up the people you spoke to recruiting normally but I got rejected from their banks or turned down the offer for the bank I'm at - why would they want to talk to me again? How do you even network for FT recruiting
