Stuck in internal audit
Hi all,
Im an Internal Audit Manager with 6 years total experience at a London Underwriter, CCAB qualified.
But.....I hate Internal Audit....Im good at my job, but its a beyond dull job and although it pays okay (£70k), im never going to be rich continuing in this field.
I have tried to break into Investment Banking and Asset Management over the last 3 years with zero luck. (Both in entry level analyst roles, associate roles, and audit roles).
Does anyone have any advice what I can do except Internal Audit and bow to get there? I feel like I have been pigeon hole and have also reached a ceiling.
Thanks.
