Summer dilemma to boost my CV

Hello :)

I've already posted this in the introduction section and someone was kind enough to give me some advice through a PM, but it seems that very few people visit that section, and this one seems more fit for my question,

Go to Beijing if you can. Freshmen summer very few people get internships, so having international experience - even if it's doing bs work- will make you look great going into sophomore summer, just by being able to talk about cultural differences and how it made you realize your dream goals.

IF you get an interview in your Sophomore year... it being competitive and all ;) (just kidding)
