Summer Internship -> return to same place or go somewhere else?

Hey all, this is a very unique situation and I doubt it pertains to many people but I would still like some advice.

Im a freshman at a T10 semi-target. Going into this year, I landed an internship at a private equity firm ($9B AUM) in NYC. I have the opportunity to either go back this summer or work with a distressed debt firm. ($6B AUM)

How does it come off to have the same internship for two summers? (It kind of would give off nepotism or smth like that imo). However, I think I'd ultimately want to end up on the buy-side.

But, I feel like if I was exposed to distressed debt, I would have stuff to talk about if I wanted to recruit for restructuring (we have a decent pipeline to Evercore) and see what that area is like.

Thanks for any advice/ thoughts!
