Telling Sophomore Internship about Junior Internship

I’m really torn up on how to deal with this situation. (don’t even know if I should be torn up)

I’ve had a 2nd year summer placement at a Big 5 in Canada (i’m canadian) for over a year and in that time I visited the office and everyone there was welcoming and supportive of returning there for my 3rd summer and potentially full time. (great vibe)

Just landed a major BB in the US for my 3rd year which I am extremely excited about but I don’t know what the most respectful or optimal way to navigate this with my 2nd year placement. I don’t even know if I should be concerned with this situation but feel I need advice.

I absolutely don’t want to burn bridges and I want to ensure my upcoming summer at the bank isn’t put in jeopardy by either not disclosing, a public linkedin post they see and are offended I didn’t reach out, or if they’re like wtf we don’t care good job if I do reach out.

Appreciate it

What a stupid question? Just keep it to yourself until the end of the internship, and don't post on LinkedIn until then. Why do you feel the need to post on LinkedIn anyways, other than to brag?

You won’t need to connect with other interns this far out, and you’ll still have a full year after your sophomore internship to put your junior internship on your LinkedIn. You won’t need to worry about housing until at least next fall.
