Thoughts on Cold Calling MM/EB

Currently still trying to recruit for SA27' and am down to my dick n balls. Emails aren't turning into anything meaningful because I've saturated my schools alumni in December, now looking at cold calling bankers who have phone numbers listed on their website (WB etc.).

Anyone have any experience/opinions on doing this?

At this point, what do you have to lose? I say go for it. Some senior mf may like that shit.

Used to work. Now? Most bankers screen calls from unknown numbers because of all the spam. You might get through but your hit rate will be brutal. I'd pivot to: finding alumni who didn't respond the first time and sending a different follow-up email. Not "just checking in" but actual relevant content. A deal they worked on. A recent move. Something that shows you've done research. That works better than cold calls in 2026.
