To what extent does my unconventional undergrad major (English Lit.) hinder my chances of being accepted to entry-level positions and development programs within the banking industry?

Thank you to everyone who interacts with this post in advance. I completed my BA degree this past May and have since enrolled in an online business program to better understand subjects such as financial accounting, business analytics, and economics. However, I just have no idea how I compare to those who are my age and studied business topics in undergrad, and further if there is anything else I could be doing to maximize my chances of success when it comes to beginning a financial career.

Any ideas of what I can do or brutally honest reality-checks are greatly appreciated!
