Two e-mails or one??

Had an interview with a boutique firm yesterday. I met with the head of Location A first (where I would be working) and Location B second (overseas location). We spoke about similar things in each conversation but I had more of a connection with the head of Location B. Should I send one thank you e-mail addressed to both of them? Or two e-mails - one to each interviewer? I'm leaning towards sending one to each but I'm not positive.

Also, I haven't heard back from one of my references... should I wait to send them my references or send them nwo without hearing back from the one?

Thanks in advance.

I've found that personalizing thank you email garners more responses, but frankly, thank yous don’t make or break you. Try and even reference conversation topics or maybe even a point he made that you liked. Also, be sure not to fuck up grammar and spelling. I know a guy who swears that he didn’t get an internship because he sent a grammatically fucked email to the interviewer after the interview.

As long as you are sure that your reference won't describe you as an incompetent tool your good. Not all people ask their references for permission to use them. It is certainly better to get the go-ahead but it shouldn’t be a big deal assuming the reference is not an asshole.

Good luck!
