Using EXCEL for networking
I am currently finishing university and I am already struggling to stay connected to my contacts. WSO and most of the people I have met told me that "your network is probably your biggest asset." Therefore I was planning to create an EXCEL spreadsheet and to synchronise my Mail, LinkedIn and WhatsApp, to keep track to whom I talked. Has anyone done this or something similar? Any advice would be appreciated!

Yep this is the best way to keep track. Doesn't need to be anything fancy - google networking tracker and look in the images for some inspiration.
Not sure how you'd link up mail, linkedin, and whatsapp though.
Thanks. I was aktually actually planning to create a virtual environment using python and also implement automated messages (e.g. Happy Birthday). It is a lot of work for a pretty simple task but after 10 hours of coding everything should work. You do have to update your excel file regularly of course (new contacts and birthdays)
