Wait after interview Capital One
Hi, I recently cleared all my interviews at Capital One (including onsite) for Business Analyst position and was told that I passed. I haven't received any offer letter yet for more than a week. Has anyone been in similar situation?
How Long to Hear Back After Interview at Capital One?
It’s hard to tell how long it will take for interviewers to get back to you. Some will respond within a couple of days, while others will take a few weeks. If you’ve been told that you passed all of your interviews but haven’t heard anything for more than a week, it might be a good idea to follow up with your recruiter. I would not worry about it too much. I went through their SA Business Analyst recruiting last year and their FT Commercial Banking Development Program recruiting not 3 months ago and their time getting back to me was different for both processes.
For the SA position I didn’t get an offer and they got back to me in 48 hours after the superday, and for the FT Commercial Banking Program recruiting process it took them about a week and half to get back to me and I did get an offer for the program that starts in July.
Give it a a couple more days and if you still dont hear anything give your recruiter a phone call.

curious, does CapOne have an IB/PE program? How competitive is it?
No. They have commercial banking. No IB.
I wonder if that might change soon though, they just hired one of Centerview's founders as their new CFO
Incorrect actually, SouthCoast is their investment banking arm.
Yea Crawford will be interesting for them. He used to be CFO and co-president of MS as well.
To answer the other poster, yes they have IB its called Southcoast. Only reason I know this is because we did a deal with them here in Houston. I think they most specialize in energy though, not sure about this.
Was it an equity or debt deal?
They do specialize mostly in energy b/c Southcoast was originally out of NoLa (think it still is HQ'd there). They've only done 4 M&A deals that I can find and nothing since 2006.
Equity IPO deal, but if I recall I heard they did some real estate IPO as well. From what I understand, they are building out their IBD team outside of energy. Maybe its because of Crawford joining. I don't know, but they seem to be growing it fast.
