Was offered a Fund Placement job and looking for expert knowledge
Hi, Looking for some insight from experienced pros in the field.. to give you a background.. I work for a tier 1 bank in the MENA region in the Treasury world. I'm a 3rd yr analyst in the Treasury Middle Office (more ops role) looking to get my associate this December. A recruiter approached me for a Fund Placement role at a AVP level. I know, shocking. I had two interviews with the firm, and my impression is they want to give me an offer.. should I choose to accept it.
Would it be wise to leave a tier 1 US bank after only 3 years to join a boutique firm? Is Fund Placement a good place to go? The role entails (naturally) a lot of travelling, client meetings, roadshows...
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thks
