Alright, so I've gone through the battlefield bullshitting my roots for interest in finance to imply my dedicated qualities but in all truth Starcraft first got me. I'd consider myself a practical and sociable person but my geek comes out when I'm playing the game. I recall my first exposure to management under pressure and a balanced method of business; weighing value vs intangible utility of a unit. Anyways I sound like a fucktard now but somehow it transformed into a path in investment banking. THERE, I said it... whatever... fuck you too.

My macro was spot on, but I never got my apm above 120, so my micro was lagging.
yeah one thing i dont like about sc is the fact that its not nec about the strategy but more about the micro and kiting :P which is gayish but whatever part of the game. i am high plat in sc2

Starcraft was the first online RTS game that I played seriously. At age 12 or 13, I was ranked the 9th best player in the world on Blizzard's ladder system. I was invited to California to compete live, but I was too young to really understand what I had won so I just accepted my free t-shirt and let the opportunity pass. However, I do attribute a lot of my multi-tasking capabilities and high-level competitive strategic thinking to Starcraft and later Everquest. Video games don't get as much credit for positively developing our youth as they deserve.

there was a guy at yahoo who got a high up managerial position since he had extensive WOW planning.
maybe not so much now but when u had to schedule the massive raids (20 or 40 i forgot) and make sure certain people got loot from DKP it was a mess lol
i would totally hire a hardcore wow player -- particularly one that was a GM, had highly-ranked raid performance/arena or RBG rating, wrote his/her own addons, etc -- provided they show up to work on time and do their job, of course.
