Anyone else working with loser VP?

Hahaha not asking for advice, but anyone else work for a loser?

Was going over the IC memo with my VP before sending out to MD. I asked a question to clarify cause I didn't understand his thick accent. He gestured to punch me and raised his voice to say "You're really a fucking idiot"

I didn't flinch, and he acted all nice right after - telling me not to stay too late working on revisions.

This same guy insulted me for having naturally curly hair, but got a perm 1 month after that (He's balding btw).

Anyway, not asking for advice as I'm on my way out (already signed offer letter). Just curious if losers like this are a common bunch?

Losers are pretty prevalent in “high finance.” Have been in the industry for 7 years now. Many grew up unpopular / no friends etc and now it is their revenge. If you are charismatic, have hair and other palatable traits and your VP is not interesting, balding, etc he will take that out on you.

Lol, seniors who treat their juniors like shit are losers.

And I'm not a nice guy for doing what? I kept my cool, didn't scream back at him, and finished turning his comments/continued doing my job.

If you got offended by me calling this guy a loser, it's either you are one of them or you tolerate this kind of bs "because private equity", which are both pathetic.
