Haha I honestly have no idea. Hinge wouldn't tell me. So bizarre. I have 2 thoughts. I messaged one girl and told her she was weird. I had what I thought was a solid date right before getting banned. Kissed the girl. Nothing weird. Then she ghosted me the next day. From what I'm reading, if someone reports you, you are toast.

I've met some quality girls off of the League. By design though since you only see 3 matches per day, you don't get a ton of matches.

I'll check that out

I don't remember exactly the process on getting on the League, but they try a lot of times to make you buy stuff and it is really expensive. If there is a waiting list to sign up, just wait and they will get back to you in a week or so I think. Don't ever pay for anything, I haven't. Free all the way.

Yes, I know of a few guys who use a different number (Google Voice, or one of those burner number apps), with no issue.

Often, people will report for the slightest thing, so don't feel weird... One of the guys in the office got banned because [edit: they had different perspectives] and after she went off on him, he discovered that he was banned.

The apps will also ban if they notice you using a VPN, because they see it as trying to get around the location or something.

I hope that helps.

You would know.

I've done some Googling, and I'm thinking this is the way. I hate the idea of going to these lengths. But Hinge is a great resource.

Same boat here, got banned from Hinge about a month or two ago. Interestingly my Tinder still seems to be working fine for now. I've always found Tinder, and especially Bumble, to be far worse than Hinge, so it's not much consolation.

Aside from the apps the only way I've ever really met girls is by going out. I don't really have any hobbies I am passionate enough about to try and join some group for, which is the other way people always say you can meet people. I've also never tried a cold approach during the middle of the day because it just feels weird to me. I will say that since being banned from Hinge I feel like I've been more willing to approach girls when I go out, and I've also been approached more, maybe because I look more open to it? Not really sure, but I would say my mindset has shifted a little just because I don't have the apps to fall back on any more.

I was going to make a new account with the tracfone, new pics, new email, etc but thinking of going no apps for a month of two. I'm hoping it will make me more willing to approach like you. I've had okay ish results with cold approach. I'm not as crazy about going out as I once was, but should probably make it more of a priority. Have to get in front of girls somehow

Honestly I'm planning on trying to get back on pretty soon, bought a burner refurbished iPhone SE and everything. But even if it does work I'll have a constant fear of getting banned again so hopefully my willingness to put in more effort in face to face situations won't fade out. I think meeting in person can definitely be good, but at the same time it still limits your pool and limits you to Friday / Saturday nights if your friends even want to go out both nights.

Here is the thing. Given enough time and activity on these apps, you will get banned since it all happens automatically. Take it from someone who has been banned multiple times over the years, despite never doing anything directly violating their rules.

If you get removed/reported (regardless of what the grounds are, even girls just reporting you for not replying/not seeing them again, whatever) X number of times by other users, which should happen eventually, the ban is automatic. It is usually impossible to successfully appeal these bans, too. The company sees it as a win-win, since they get rid of players this way and make the experience better for newer users.

You can try to create new accounts, but as you know they make it increasingly harder to evade their ban triangulation (device ID, account IDs, IP, facial recognition, etc.) thing going on. Definitely possible, though.

Unfortunately this happened to me because of a distasteful fat joke. Do you have any close friends (or even family members) with unoccupied cellphone numbers? I tried emailing hinge corporate to get the ban revoked however I got no response, friends phone number seemed to do the trick when it came to making a new profile.

I was just going to get some phone number online, that I would probably have to pay for. Friends phone number may be a better idea though
