Best Paying Career for Economics?

I just started my MS degree in Economics. I am applying to summer 2022 internships, but I wonder what career options do I have. I study Economics because of my subject interests and also to build up my analytical skill. I have always been interested in quant trading, however I do realize that I do not really stand a chance as I am from non-target and I do not have much skills that they require. I have been applying for Sales & Trading internships, but I would like to explore more options in case they didn't work out. My background is in commodity. Does anyone have any career to suggest?
