Double Edge Safety razors are my go-to products to get a clean shave, e.g.:
There are some very good designs from Merkur, this is one of my razors https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Aai9ut
The original Merkur design patent ran out and this factory produces the highest quality at a very fair price.
Good blades on the market are Merkur, Feather or comparable brands.
Astra blades (although Gillette feel sharper & better), some basic shaving soap (higher fat content, better to protect skin) & soon getting a badger hair brush for the foam. I've had that for like 2 months and I genuinely look forward to shaving. It's amazing.
I swear by Merkur 34C, astra blades, a badger brush and a good shaving lotion. Had the worst ache before I started using that combo and afterwards it got much less aggressive
I will say, German razors and British shaving cream go great together. I've been using various Taylor of Old Bond Street creams for the past couple years (liked the Eton College the most), and have heard good things about Truefitt And Hill and Geo. F. Trumper, would be great to check them out in person in London one day.

Bought this myself about a year ago. I was super into single blade and buying good shaving cream... I cut myself about 3 times every time though so I ended up returning it lol. Great razor if you're good at shaving with a single edge.
I used Cherry Mx Reds (on a Korean-made Leopold FC980M) until I added a keyboard which uses Topre Silent 45g capacitive switches (Japanese-made Realforce R2 PFU Limited Edition)
My mouse is a Razer Basilisk Ultimate though because I like the form factor
Great question. For banking, a good old fashioned Gillete pro-glide makes sense. For buy-side, you can't go wrong with dollar shave club/Harrys... Consultants should strongly consider electric razors tbh
Depends on whether you are working at a BB or EB. I would say the Gillette Mach3 (Either standard or turbo) would serve you fine. If you are working for an EB-think Moelis,etc- I would consider a Phillips Norelco as a viable option. Its impossible to give good advice with so little information. Anyone posting about how bankers use the same razors as normal people clearly have never worked in banking before. Whoever wrote this clearly has offers at top banks...
P.S, shaving cream is usually dependent on what city you work in.
Bought them and they just came in, wonderful razors. Really outstanding quality, didn't expect it at the price point. Thanks for the links.
Did a first shave and it is a lot cleaner than before. Using Astra blades for a very clean shave.
If anybody has suggestions for even better blades than Astra, please feel free to comment.
I personally like the Razor A2 Scooter, as it's a classic. But for bankers I think the T25 Electric is the way to go - it has virtually all of the bells and whistles of the E-XR model but features a slicker profile, which I think looks nicer. The LED headlight should help you get home in the late hours of the night, and the 250-watt motor will get you back to the office before the staffer even notices you were gone.

I do not shave - I trim. Much quicker, often less mess, and do not have ingrown hair / cuts. Takes me less than 5 minutes and no need for after shave / buying razors.

Second the safety razor. Starting using them senior year and will never go back. Way closer shave and much smoother than a regular Gillette.
Pair that with a quality shaving cream and a badger hair brush and it actually makes shaving enjoyable.
Been using Astra blades and have no complaints.
second that.

Would second this 100%. Made the switch about a year ago and have fallen in love with my shaving routine.

I assume the same razors that work for the rest of the world....
I buy only Patagonia razers.
Good value for money!
Highly recommend the Supply Razors
I’ve gotten bad razor bumps with every razor before. Replacement razors are cheap and it’s a close shave
Bought this myself about a year ago. I was super into single blade and buying good shaving cream... I cut myself about 3 times every time though so I ended up returning it lol. Great razor if you're good at shaving with a single edge.
+1 on Supply. Tried it out on a whim. Cut myself a bunch when I started, but doesn't give me any skin irritation at all.
Bump
how much of a fucking retard do you have to be to ask this
bankers are normal fucking people. there isn't a razor that's specially made for bankers, you dumb fuck
I was about to write this
the only difference is that a banker may need a razor to off themselves from all the sleep deprivation and stress
Gets around quick, cost efficient, environmental friendly, good quad workout, and easily collapsable to carry on the subway
Actually not a bad idea...might dust this bad boy off again
Better yet just take one from a kid on the way to work.
Tough on the shins
Fuckin ankles
Also surprised the title wasn't "Most prestigious razors" or some shit lol
Or "banks as razor blades" lol
None, grow a beard, seriously.
Not a good look for a banking analyst. Can get away with it while wfh tho
How so? Think times have changed. I had mine in interviews and got offers.
Philips Norelco One Blade.
whatever they have stocked for me at equinox
I used to be a member but are they allowing use of bathrooms / showers / steam rooms
Bathroom / shower yes, but steam room is closed (at least from what I've seen in NYC). Assuming sauna would also be closed in locations that have one
usually use a dull machete (dry obviously) so that everyone knows how low my banker balls hang
Save some balls for the rest of us. Sheesh
Grow the beard. Less time shaving = more time banking.
I prefer Patagonia razers.,,
*slaps mouse* this bad boy can fit so many macros
Hilarious cause my brother just got me some Razer stuff for my bday. RGB GANG ALL DAY

for shaving or self harm
Occam's razor
depends, do you want attention or results? Also are you at moelis?
Razor deathadder

a straight razor with a tassel with your bank's colors
you can also tie a stolen strap off the banker bag of a competing bank around it
it has to have flare though
Shaving is one of my hobbies and even with working remotely the gentlemen in our team shave daily.
These are the razors I am using mostly.
This one is stainless steel, so it won't chip easily. https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_9GmGSP
This is my backup razor, the one I grab if the other one is not cleaned or not longer sharp and I am too lazy to change the blades :D
