Best way to go from $5m -> $10m in 3 years?

Serious question. If you have $5m right now and no further external additions, what's the best way to double that in three years? (three years is a proxy for "reasonably fast" and I say $5m starting point rather than simply "double some amount" as there are more investments open to accredited investors). My definition of "best way" would include a high chance of achieving the goal within the timeframe while also minimizing risk to principal + some nominal annual return (that is, the worst case is lagging the market but only by a few hundred basis points, for example). I'm obviously familiar with risk/return limitations, know that it's hard to track downside with unbounded upside capture, there's no free lunch, and I will not be taking this money to the casino, doing 0DTE options, or doing a 100% allocation to triple levered beta. I'm fully aware there is no secret solution or magic bullet here, just curious if anyone has some interesting investment or portfolio construction ideas to achieve this goal.

Focus on getting $5 million first otherwise you’re day dreaming and going nowhere.

Only two sources I trust, Glenn Beck and singing woodland creatures.
