COVID-19 insurance??

Anyone bothered to get extra insurance against 'rona?

I have free statutory health insurance in my country that pays me 70% of my salary in case I get sick, on top of that our bank got us extra insurance against COVID, which is a one-time payment of 70% of the monthly paycheck.

I am thinking about paying an extra dime to extend the insurance to get paid at least 200% of the monthly paycheck in case I get sick. Should I do that?

P.S. Healthcare is free in my country, I just want to get compensated for the loss of salary and possible loss of study time since I am also doing postgrad.

Sounds like a good idea to safe just in case of a case of Covid-19. Also, is the insurance expensive where you live? There are rumors going around that they might be a possible vaccine by the end of year, take it with a grain of salt. How much is the deductible before full coverage? On the flip side, there might be a second wave so you have to keep that in mind.

Some go their entire lives, living existences of quiet desperation, never learning the truth that what feels as though a burden pushing down upon their shoulders is really a sense of purpose that lifts us to greater heights. Never forget that fear is but the precursor to valor, that to strive and triumph in the face of fear is what it means to be a hero. Don’t think. Become.”
