Yes, it has pros and cons.

Pro: I'm secretly insecure as shit and work much harder than anyone around me because I equate my value as a human being with how successful I am. This means that I achieve a lot of things in life that other people cant.

Cons: I don't know how to truely connect with people. I can make a great first impression with new people (girls or guy friends) but can't develop these relationships further. They think I am not interested in them, or lose interest themselves, and my reaction to this is that I'm not successful enough (need to make more money, buy better skincare products, get a fresh haircut, hit the gym harder) because I think that they will like me if they know I am someone who is successful. I realise my thinking is unhealthy but I struggle to change it and have accepted that I will probably die successful, but alone and everything will be for nothing.
