Dip, Cigs, Chaw, Juul, Oh My!
Tobacco has been prevalent on Wall St. for as long as the institution itself has existed, so I decided to start one end-all-be-all discussion on the vice that undoubtedly grips more of your colleagues than you could ever imagine. Today, with the increasing popularity of the Juul, I find all nicotine products to be more widely accepted than normal and thus I have noticed a trend favoring more widespread use of everything from Juuls themselves, to cigarettes, dip, etc.
Has anyone else noticed that despite all the controversy surrounding the Juul it has definitely served to strengthen the use of nicotine products in general. Any ballsy analysts ripping a juul in your office? Are people still packing fat lips at the desk when the MDs go home? Is nicotine starting to be somewhat embraced by your circle instead of being demonized?

That stupid little fidget spinner doesn't begin to touch cigarettes or dip with a 10 foot pole. I chew 4mg nicotine ~4 days a week. It's not a vice. It has a lot of health and cognitive benefits.

Juul in big in the US but in Europe Philip Morris jumped on this trend with the IQOS - a hybrid product where you have smaller nicotine packed cigarettes that are heated to the temperature that just releases nicotine instead of a full ignition and release of all the chemicals in tobacco. Massive in Italy, France, Spain and other European markets as a cigarette substitute.
What a fucking trash product - not even a solution to a problem and the people with the problem don't even understand the problem
They're all fashion products but between an electric ignition of half cigarette and sucking on a fucking USB stick I'd take former
