Do You Truly Enjoy The Work You Do, or Do You Not Really Like Your Job, but Do It to Make a Lot of Money and Enjoy Personal Hobbies / Pleasures?

Plenty of people in this world hate their jobs, but money compensates for this because they have hobbies they like that money can fuel and further facilitate.  Others truly enjoy the work they do, and for some in this sect work is like a 'hobby' to them.  Compensation might matter to the latter folk less because by working, they are spending their time on this life doing something they truly love each and everyday, something that beams their soul.

The question in the title is there, would like to see where you all stand on this.

Thanks.

No, I don't, but I have good habits and live frugally. I'll be able to "retire" in 10 years in my early 30s or at least do whatever line of work for any sum of money I want. I've run the numbers already. I'll have enough. As long as your healthy, you can do anything you'd like in your early 30s as in your 20s and I can enjoy the rest of my life on my own terms for a bit of upfront sacrifice. I suppose a major market recession could put a dent in these plans given I have everything tied up in high growth equities/crypto. But yeah that's plan I suppose

Anything except proper grammar.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee
