Former Goldman Sachs banker (and scammer) Fabrice Tourre to teach honors class at U of Chicago

Who says there’s no honor among thieves?Former Goldman Sachs banker and securities scammer Fabrice Tourre has landed a new gig: teaching an honors economics class at the prestigious University of Chicago.
“Fabulous Fab,” as the 34-year-old famously called himself in e-mails to his girlfriend, was found liable by a federal-court jury last August on civil securities charges that were brought by the
Securities and Exchange Commission.While Goldman settled with the SEC for $550 million, Tourre decide to leave his fate to a jury.
The jury found Tourre liable on six charges of fraud for perpetrating the $1 billion deceptive sales of a complex array of mortgage securities to institutional investors in 2007. The case is on appeal.
I'm guessing the class will fill up pretty quick, what are your thoughts?
Had the privilege of meeting this guy a couple months ago while in Chicago. Incredibly smart and interesting, and I think he really got shafted with everything. Lucky people who will be able to learn from this guy.
It looks poorly for U Chicago & during his trial didn't he argue that he did not have great understanding of the products he was selling?
He really became famous for emailing his girlfriend....
Other than that, its an economics class he is teaching, to which he seems adequately qualified to teach.

He is a Goldman alumni, conviction notwithstanding, got his 15 seconds of fame shame, did he not.
