Graduation Vs Vacation

Given my circumstances, would any of you consider going on a long vacation rather than graduation? (looking to spend 2 weeks out of the country before start)

Between my last day and my start date I have about 2 weeks, however between graduation and my start date I would only have one week, which would not allow enough time for the vacation I am planning.

While graduation is usually a huge event I have a few exceptions:

1) I go to a school I'm not necessarily "proud of" to represent on the street (Top 60 / Non-Target) 2) Most of my friends at school aren't nearly as close to those I know outside of school (been off campus since freshman year) 3) The cost of my family coming over for graduation equals/exceeds the cost of the vacation I am taking 4) I most likely will not have a 2-3 week vacation for quite a while.

Will I regret my decision on taking my vacation? Will I have another opportunity given I get into a good MBA program?

Thanks!

I would totally go for the vacation. Have you ever attended a graduation for a friend? It is so boring...blah blah blah, names, woohoo....the end. If you are going on a vacation in Europe or Asia, it is totally worth it, since you can have a great story to tell everyone about.

You will probably not see 2 weeks of vacation not until you are retired or fired, either ways take a trip now since it going to be a long time you will get this amount of free time ever again. Trips abroad are much more interesting and life changing than getting to walk across a stage.

Last thing to mention, 50 Euros for any girl you want in Amsterdam and lap dances at the strip clubs are 20 Euros.

Take the vacation dude. See if you can get a couple of your buddies together to go backpacking through some European countries. Bang out a few broads while you're out there.

Cheers!

Dude, just stick around and party during senior week like a normal person. Who are you going to take a vacation with? Yourself? That's going to be mind numbingly boring. Senior week is pretty much your last chance to just spend an entire week partying 24/7 and hanging out with any friends, even if you're not super tight with them.
