Groups With The Most Attractive/Fratty Guys?

Recently started FT at a top EB/BB in a mid-tier group, although the pay's good and the work is interesting, the guys in my bullpen aren't the typical UVA/Dartmouth fratty demographic that I'm used to. Whenever we go out for drinks or happy hour, these guys talk to little to no women and no women are coming up to us except for me when I branch off from them. When I used to go out with my (fratty/attractive group, think Barclays Tech/Blair/Piper Sandler) analyst class during my SA, they were drinking a ton, skiing in the stalls and multiple analysts were taking women home to the same apartment. Same case for when I was in college at PIKE/SigChi/Kappa Sig. I really miss this lifestyle and looking to lateral to a more fratty group, although I don't want to go to Houston/Charlotte or other fratty lower-tier cities.

Gotta be Jefferies and TD Cowen: based on my conversations and man did I talk to a fuck ton these frat dudes lmaooo. I like this post, mad funny.

I've been out on the town in NYC with a bunch of the Cowen IB team. They seemed to be legit, except for the fact that we went to clubs and they were all wearing suits which was kind of formal. I was good friends with one bro and we went to Cielo one night (RIP place closed) and he ordered a 90s stretch limo to come pick us up and go back to my pad with all the chicks we picked up at the club, which was baller and hilarious.

RIP Cielo.

Man Isaiah_53_5 💎🙌💎🙌💎, gotta write a biography about your life on here or somewhere.

From my experience in college it's a bad look to be associated with nerdy looking guys even if you're a good looking guy, as women won't want to go up to and talk with 5 losers just to have a shot with the 1 attractive guy. The equation changes when the analyst class is made up of 6 fratty tall guys vs 1 fratty tall guy (me) and 5 nerds

You are 100% right on that for younger people I feel. Going out with fun people is way better because it attracts more fun people who usually are more attractive/less awkward. Maybe it used to be different, but when there is one attractive guy in a group of nerds, I feel like there isn't a boost from being more attractive by leagues than your peers and people question why you would be with those other guys. It's like a halo/horns effect, and it honestly is quite a culture drag when you're surrounded all the time with people that are much different in their approach towards socialization/life in general with you, while they are all similar to each other imo.

Honestly, it's the truth. I'm a conventionally attractive Indian guy — not to boast, just giving context — and I noticed a significant difference in my social experiences over time. Initially, during my freshman and early sophomore years, I mostly hung out with Indian and Asian friends. During those outings, we attracted less attention and I personally didn't get nearly as much attention or play. However, things changed when I joined a top-tier fraternity. Suddenly, I started having more success, sometimes even more than the chad archetype of the white guys in the frat. The caliber of women who showed interest in talking, hooking up, or dating seemed higher.

I'm not a bad person, so I continued to spend time with my original group of friends, all of whom are now successful in STEM fields. I'm happy I maintained those friendships. They even admitted that my presence, or that of some of my frat friends, seemed to boost their chances in social settings. When I invited them to join us on outings, they received noticeably more attention than they would have on their own.

It reminds me of how people often perceive celebrities or powerful individuals as attractive, even though, personally, I regularly see people in NYC who are significantly better-looking than many Hollywood actors.

Not trying to say you're wrong, but at least some of the effect is moreso because of status on campus if you're in a top-tier frat because girls recognize you guys. If you went out in another city versus Old Row, it probably wouldn't have been as prominent of an effect

Fake: OP talks to women

Gay: OP wants to know which groups have the most good-looking men

Fratty guys as attractive?

Same guys whose hobbies amount to smoking meats, owning an expanded bourbon collection, betting on sports, with the most physical activity they get all year being a round of golf?

You probably wont find a bigger delta than the attractiveness of woman and the attractiveness of men than southern/fratty cities (nashville, charlotte, etc) - and it aint the men coming out on top there. Well, maybe they are, since they can marry a smokeshow while being balding with a dad bod
