How do I regain my passion for investing?

Current student in college working in equity research next summer. I entered my undergraduate business school very interested in investing and wanted nothing more than to pursue a career in L/S fundamental equity. However, I'm not sure why but my interest in investing slowly dipped as recruiting and coursework piled up over the past couple years. Reading the news used to be interesting but now it feels like a chore. I just got an internship offer but I don't know how to rekindle my passion for investing. Should I take a break from all finance-related stuff outside of my coursework and wait for my passion to come back?

your "passion" is probably correlated with market performance hate to break it to you
