How Possible to Switch From Big 4 Audit to This Industry Role?
Initially, I was just going to PM 808 with this question, but I thought that it'd post it here for everyone to chime in/discuss since a lot of us are going to look to jump to industry roles after doing a stint in public accounting.
I was browsing through jobs for fun (sitting at home waiting for grad school to start leaves me with way too much idle time) and I noticed this role that I'd be interested in some day:

It's basically a financial analyst position in HBO that's quite strategy-oriented yet isn't pure corporate development, which seems to be a bit more difficult for us non-IB/MBB types.
The "requirements" for this posting seem very vague, so I was wondering if anyone has insight as to how good a fit a big 4 background could, or potentially couldn't, be for something like this and if the skill-set we'd get from those jobs would make us viable for roles like this.
Even if I never do corp dev or pure strategy work, doing something like this could still be a good compromise, so any thoughts on this would be great. I also chose to post this one in particular because HBO is one of my top 2 favorite companies in the world and media is probably my favorite industry.
Thanks all!
