If a nuclear war broke out, what skills/value would surviving high finance individuals bring to the world in the aftermath?

Say a nuclear war sends us years back, but not too far since we’ll still, hopefully, have people who have knowledge of types of governments, farming, healthcare, etc… but I’ve been struggling to figure out what people who used to work in high finance would do if such an event occurred. How would they contribute? Doctors provide medicine, teachers teach, and so on..

We wouldn't contribute because we have no actual skills except shuffling money around from one rich asshole to another and taking a fee

The satanic, leftist SJWs have done a number on your self-esteem mate. Head up, king. Least you're not black or retarded.

Critical thinking - there are several leaders in history that were not anything special in terms of physical strength or skills, but they were able to bring people together for a common goal.

Nothing, but usually people in this role have really efficient bureaucratic and planning skills, so allocating time and resources could be a good one.

Pulling all nighters in nuclear winter

Quick and dirty analysis of remaining fresh water supply

Hostile takeover of rival factions

Boiling the ocean (to get salt)

And last but not least... reinventing the wheel

Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes.

Align interests. Pitch “the land of milk and honey,” more power, more concubines, to leaders of the ruling junta.  While the brutes think short term, you create a 10 year plan. You might not be #1 in this society (usually reserved for the most brutal and violent, high risk takers), but maybe top #3-10.  There’s not a lot of need for too many of these types, so only few will survive (there will be middle management positions though).  The king might make you an eunuch, but you get your jollies in other ways.

As the Ukraine War shows, logistics is important.  It takes X tons of food to feed the garrison of Y soldiers; Z mules to transport, etc.

I'd say there's a ton of value in analysts after the apocalypse
