Is it a bad idea to live with people you work with?

Some may prefer to keep their outside life separate from the office. But in NYC, living with someone you already know could have some benefits to rooming with a random. What are your thoughts?

The Situation
TNAYes. No question. Living with people in the same industry as you is fine, but living with a coworker? Don't do it.
after graduation I'll be living with my gf who'll also be in the same coverage group as me, its ok tho b/c we're in luv

and what happens when you two break up? lol you'll not only be living tgthr still but also working tgthr?! i smell disaster if you're being serious

I don't throw darts at a board. I bet on sure things. Read Sun-tzu, The Art of War. Every battle is won before it is ever fought- GG

i would do it if the person worked in a different department than me so i didnt see him or her every single fucking day at work.

Terrible idea to live with fellow bankers.

This is going to stifle you for a long time, you want to avoid turning into a Wall Street Drone or type A personality. Actually wrote up a long article on this.

You want to get roomates who are going to bring in girls or improve your social life. that simple.
