What's worked for me:

  • Meditation. Listening to the Peaceful Meditation playlist on Spotify, closing my eyes, and focusing on my breathing.

  • Exercise. For me, nothing boosts my mood like a good run.

What's not worked for me:

  • Worrying about things that I have no control over.

  • Thinking about the future instead of living in the moment.

  • Comparing myself to others and not realizing that everyone is on their own path.

As someone who suffered from depression for a number of years when younger: -the stigma discourse is utter bs; those who suffer from similar issues aren't going to feel better if we started rolling carpets and make public acknowledgements of those things; -these initiatives are worthless and bring no improvement whatsoever to the people in question: they do give a reason to those promoting the initiatives to feel better about themselves.... -..... because for the most part they are just narcissist libs who seek every occasion to virtue signal to society about how much they care about other people's issues without making any effort whatsoever to bring something valuable to the table;

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.

lmfao yes it does, just go through Twitter, infinite amounts of college students wanting to “lull themselves” over dropping a water bottle or cracking their iPhone screen. They all hate Republicans and support socialism.
