Another McD item I think is underrated is the Egg McMuffin - so good and nutritious.

I'll counter with the double cheeseburger from BK. Two of those and I'm happy as can be. Or a sourdough Jack.

The double bacon cheeseburger from BK is fire.

Arroz con Pollo

Publix Sub

hard disagree on this, those suck imo. The bread, though fresh, seems just ok at best, and the taste of everything isn't that flavorful. Jersey Mike's or Firehouse Subs is much better, but ultimately subs are one of those things that is by far best not served at a fast food place.

Agree on the McGriddle, that really is legendary.

Yeah Firehouse subs are flavorful.

UGH our college cafeteria would have mcmuffin and mcgriddle knockoffs -Easy to replicate- and i would eat 2  every time they had them. Missing the cafeteria meal plan

Publix soups are good:

- Vermont Cheddar and Broccoli

- New England Clam chowder

- Lobster Bisque

Cheesy Bean & Rice burrito

From Taco Bell, this value menu item used to be a dollar. Filled with beans, cheese, rice, and creamy jalapeño sauce, the flavor is delicious. Sometimes they only fill it with the bare minimum leaving you with "well it was only $1.25 what did I expect", but sometimes they'll stuff it like a regular burrito. These days are the days of victory

they're still $1 where I live. Not the biggest fan of Taco Bell, but I gotta admit, it is a solid value

I haven't tried it yet but it does sound interesting, is it good?

Quant (ˈkwänt) n: An expert, someone who knows more and more about less and less until they know everything about nothing.

Haggis pasties are pretty darn good. Highly recommend next time you see them. If they don't taste good take a weekend trip to Scotland to get the real deal.

Harris Teeter / Publix / Whole Foods sushi is good and Whole Foods fresh pizza by the slice is bomb

Wfoods bfast burrito is one of the best I'v had. Its About 1.4k calories though. The costco combo pizza was GOAT. Fresh veggies, excellent price. RIP

Why is there no love for the TBell CrunchWrap Supreme?

Chipotle quesadillas before they made them an official menu item. Those were the days. Full tortilla, so much cheese and practically double meat bc they had to cover the whole half. I would do anything to prevent chipotle from making it an official menu item.

damnnn sounds good

Oh, if we're going TB it's gotta be the volcano burrito when it was around. Or the enchilada grilled stuft burrito when it was around.

Hey TB, why you gotta keep killing off your baller menu items for weak sauce items instead like the doritos locos tacos which suck? Take a page out of Whataburger's book and make your interesting takes on things your regular menu so a regular taco is the odd one out.

Keep in mind these are things that I believe are truly underrated. I’m not coming on here to recommend some mainstream shit

1) Chicken strips at chick fil a. Everyone assumes they taste like the nugs / sandwich but they have their own unique breading that’s good enough to eat without sauce. My go-to post workout meal is six of these with fries and shake.

2) Publix Hot food section. Im not in the south anymore but I remember them having fire chicken nugs, wings, mac&cheese, etc at a super reasonable price. Walmart hot food section can also be surprisingly good. Both of these depend on the quality of the actual store - I wouldn’t eat at a run down Walmart

3) Church’s Chicken. They’re only in the most ghetto spots possible, so people often skip them. But their sides and most notably their biscuits are better than any fried chicken place. Next time you’re caught in a bad part of town check it out

4) Fresh Market Margherita Pizza. I’ve probably eaten 100 of these in my lifetime. You have to get them special made because not all of the stores have them ready to go. But it’s just pizza dough, red sauce, and big slices of fresh mozzarella so they will whip it up for you if you call ahead. It’s fresh ingredients instead of a frozen pizza which makes it really good. You can still freeze them and cook it later though.

I’m 6’2 and a 180lbs even with eating all of those calories. Washing a big meal down with a milkshake, smoothie, ensure, etc is the only way I can be full for a normal amount of time. Protein powder / shakes don’t really do the trick because it’s too low calorie.

That’s just what it’s like having a naturally fast metabolism while also being active. If I were to have a grilled chicken Kale salad after a workout I’d be a skeleton

I would say this is almost on par with the quality of an in-n-out burger. Probably the best burger you can find if you don't live near an in-n-out

The easiest answer of all time - chicken quesadillas from cookout. Those who know what I am talking about, you know. A cookout tray paired with a strawberry cheesecake milkshake is the ultimate drunk college kid food for only $5

Dude the cookout tray sub milkshake for +$1 was my go to "I'm going to shit out this hangover" meal in college. Amazing and so cheap. The one by my school was a dump and got shot up a few times but still 10/10.

family is everything

Cookout might be one of the things I miss most from college

Catholic gang gang. Chick Fil A used to offer them during Lent but I think they stopped doing that now.

I think they are year round now. They definitely have them during Lent, though, because they always ramp up the advertising for it at that time.

I’m a fun guy. Obviously I love the game of basketball. I mean there’s more questions you have to ask me in order for me to tell you about myself. I'm not just gonna give you a whole spill... I mean, I don't even know where you're sitting at

Not sure I've ever seen it but love me some hate chicken.  The breakfast chicken biscuit with honey and hot sauce washed down with a little Prosecco is amazing.  (Popeye's chicken sandwich is better though.)

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

KFC Double Down

The Double Down is a sandwich offered by Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants. It has two pieces of fried chicken fillet, as opposed to bread, containing bacon, cheese, and a sauce.

haha I actually had this when I was burning 5,000 cal per day and needed tons of calories and protein.

There used to be this Jurassic Park Burger at MCD which had 3 Patties.

Taco Johns flaming hot Cheeto burrito.

Taco Bell breakfast Crunchwrap. Also the quesarito which was discontinued. It was basically the one menu from TB item I could eat while driving without making a mess.

Used to like McRib, but it doesn’t do it anymore.

I got this McDonald’s 10:35 burger at one point. It was an sausage egg McMuffin patty and egg on a bun with burger patty and cheese. Pretty gnarly after a hard night of drinking.

Was the McRib ever good? I had it 10 years ago for the first time and it was disgusting

...

Availability of the McRib is closely correlated to pork belly prices. (that's for real)  I hear you can get one off menu tho if you've got the GI Joe with the Kung Fu Grip (That's a lie)

Also Isaiah, you should retitle this to most prestigious fast food and then have a tier ranking system. (CFA - KFC - Popeyes - 7-11 - etc).

As this thread has shown time and time again though: Taco Bell uber alles. TB > McD > CFA/BK then the boutiques like Publix or Taco John's or Whataburger for us here in the south.

Anything from Arby's is slept on. Very underrated place period

Arby’s boyz

The breakfast burrito, though a very much white person style, is still great imo for what it is

I feel like Greek fast food or takeout is underrated and really healthy. I’m surprised a Greek Chipotle hasn’t developed a national or regional chain. Lamb gyro is my favorite on a fresh pita with tzatziki, hummus, chickpeas, Greek olives, cucumbers, and banana peppers.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

Have you ever had CAVA?

Love that shit. I get it like once a week right now. Greens & grains bowl with chicken & spicy lamb meatballs, pita on the side, pickled onions, cabbage/tomato/cucumber/kalamata olives/spicy hummus/pita crisps. They also offer pita rolls and stuff... pretty much exactly what you just described and a pretty big chain; at least in the DMV.

They also have an insanely good oatmeal dark choc chip cookie with flakey salt

Oh no I haven’t had it but it looks good. I see they have 133 locations but aren’t near me.

Popeyes mashed potatoes and gravy is good too if I recall, but haven’t been there in years.

Taco Bell getting lots of love on here

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

It’s pretty good but I think the CFA cookies and cream milkshake is better.

With M&Ms could be epic though wow.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

Wendy's Chili on the baked potato is fire.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

I think you have to hand it to McDonald's. Their consistency is solid no matter where you go. Breakfast is bomb. Every item on the menu is carefully scrutinized for customer value and satisfaction.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

MCD is my safeguard when traveling all over the world. It’s the known product quality and menu. I’m no stranger to local food, ate a delicious stew out of a Phuket garage one time, fresh cleaned fish on a Barcelona beach, etc, but I’m just cautious after coming Ill with food poisoning in China. I have no idea what I ate when I was out with the team, but it put most of us out for 3-4 days. Hotel staff called in a doctor for one of the employees.

Taco Bell getting the most votes so far though...

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

The Wendy's Sour Cream and Butter Baked potato is definitely underrated as solid quality in the fast food industry. They know their spuds well.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

Pretty much a big mac with a double hamburger and mac sauce. This is my favorite. As an added bonus, I enjoy this food after ending the late-night party with beautiful costumes and Astroworld merch.

Since I saw other people people mention grocery stores, I would recommend Giant boneless chicken wings, particularly their sweet chili, bourbon, and buffalo flavors. The only flavor I had was barbecue, but I thought they added way too much sauce to those. Where I go it is $5 for 10 oz

I’m a fun guy. Obviously I love the game of basketball. I mean there’s more questions you have to ask me in order for me to tell you about myself. I'm not just gonna give you a whole spill... I mean, I don't even know where you're sitting at

Yeah I’ve heard a lot of hype about it and it is in my city, but have never been. What do you get?
