Need some tv shows to watch (preferably not well known)

Yep. Just because I've watched a lot of the mainstream ones already. Feel free to drop any shows you like, regardless.

I'll start with some I think not a lot of people heard of:

Power (Very interesting twists and turns, and makes you feel like you're living the life of the main character)

The Good Place (I never cry during tv shows/movies but the finale of this got me good, gf told me to binge watch with her and no regrets. Amazing storytelling and a unique idea for a show)

Black Mirror (pretty well known actually but I think this shows awesome because each episode is unique and gives you some good food for thought. Perfect to watch if you don't want to binge)

The squid game

haha nah jokes aside I loved 60 Days in (available in netflix): The television series follows seven individuals as they volunteer to go undercover, spending 60 days as inmates in the Clark County Jail, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The individuals that go undercover have personal motivations (ie has a relative in jail and wants to understand how it is, or a guy who wants to be a prison guard and wants to see the other side). Some of them end up well integrated with other inmates, while others can't stand the pressure or are abused etc

not sure if thats the official timeline but that what news sources gave the release date as when I was looking earlier this year. and I follow the girl in it (that frigs her bean in the bath) and she was filming early this year as well.

He isn’t really, idk why they made him that psycho unless it was a reference to a certain Asian American MD in London. He did a much better job in the Sopranos

LMAO makes me think of that girl who worked in finance pre 2008 and was on that MTV show in 2009 crying about how hard it was to survive on a normal job in Dallas.

Dark is pretty good. Its on netflix and only 3 seasons long.

If you can get into it, venture into Bojack.

Halt and Catch Fire, the best TV show no one saw. It was AMC from like 2014-2017 and everyone thought it was just another Mad Men, but it's so much more (not saying that Mad Men is bad, it's easily one of the best shows ever made). Halt and Catch Fire is about the burgeoning tech industry in Texas in the early 80's and goes through to about the mid 90s. Fascinating show with some of the best characters I've seen on TV. My current top recommendation.

As far as other, lesser known TV shows:

- Fleabag (Amazon, pretty well known among tv obsessives, I don't think very popular with the general public)

- Undone (Amazon, great rotoscoped show about a character who becomes unstuck from time, really interesting concept and well done. Bonus, it stars Bob Odenkirk)

- Normal People (Hulu, one of the best dramatic mini-series I've ever seen, about a boy and girl through their 4 year on-again-off-again relationship)

- The Leftovers (HBO, very interesting drama about a world were 2% of the population suddenly vanished)

- Ramy (Hulu, very funny show about a second-gen Egyptian guy trying to balance modern living with his traditional background, it's very relatable if you come from a traditional religious background)

Amazon has TV shows now?  The fuck?  Jeff Bezos really leaves no stone unturned.

Bruh where have you been? Amazon Prime has been doing original content for years now: The Boys, The Expanse, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Man in the High Castle, and the shows above are all Amazon originals, plus a bunch of movies as well including: You Were Never Really Here, One Night in Miami, Manchester by the Sea, The Neon Demon, The Big Sick, Cold War (one of the best movies of the last 5 years), Don't Worry He Won't Get Far on Foot, and Sound of Metal.

In addition to some of the more obvious ones (Breaking Bad, The Wire, etc.)…

Comedy: Nathan for You, Ted Lasso, Silicon Valley, Curb your Enthusiasm, Cobra Kai

Action: The Expanse, Jack Ryan

Drama: The Missing, Succession, Billions, The Sinner, Chernobyl (outstanding), True Detective, Fargo, Narcos Mexico, Black Mirror, Mindhunter, Queen’s Gambit, The Night Of

Nonfiction/documentary: The Last Dance, The Jinx
