You actually should get a bookie to post odds and take bets, it would probably triple site traffic overnight.

haha he won't get the Chamberlain rule, DF is in the running, DingDong won last year but hasn't been very active in the last 6 months so would really be in the running anyways

good call on come back members of the year, and yes love that coffee thread :-)

Idk about CompBanker being a comeback user if you're including Eddie in there...Eddie posts an well thought out topic every week. Comp Banker has like 2 comments a month.

Ouch. I imagine this must be what it feels like when celebrities read "mean tweets" on youtube...

@Virginia Tech 4ever"

He consistently makes substantive and genuine posts, even if many disagree with his opinion. I doubt he would win, but I would say the same for others on that list. You should either make it smaller and increase the quality of the candidates, or throw him in as well.

We have more than enough Election 2016 threads for you to figure that one out, Jack Ryan

I'm usually a sucker for thebrofessor or my fellow quant IlliniProgrammer. Over the years, these two individuals (among others) have consistently made significant contributions to the lives of others. Even so, geoffblades went through the forum like a steamroller this year.

The establishment or the outsider? Interesting question, given the events of the past year...

eh imo geoff posts click-bait threads filled with motivational buzzwords

Many have echoed your opinion. Indeed, its obvious that Geoff tries to market his posts far more than others on the forum. Even so, that doesn't necessarily mean that there's something wrong with the informational content.

ftb hasn't even been a member for a whole year yet so I don't think he should get it. As I said before Dickfuld is the Michael Jordan of WSO. Right now he's like the 96-98 version, still good enough to be member of the year but not as good as he was with the Non-target to BB CEO.

Guys, we got cropdusted hard. 1 MS apiece on this thread

Yeah, shout out to the loser who did that. They're the real member of the year.

Somebody in here really likes throwing monkey shit.

That's what happens when half of the forum members are 14 year olds who wanted to HYP->BB->PE since they were in utero
