Non-job related questions to ask (No HRs, no juniors...)

Hi all,

After several months of struggle post redundancy I've secured a new role. Could not be happier (craziest office I've seen with mad perks, reporting directly to partners, well-capitalized by top-notch institutionals...) Going to sweat but growing with this firm can be great. Hang-on fellow job seekers, shitty but temporary times!

Questions:

When you join a small company (deal team = partners + you), with I suspect an absence of classic corporate policies in place, how do you ask (if not provided) for things you think you would need or should get:

Reactnews, FT, Preqin (any other paying subscription)

Hardware for home (Monitor, hdmi adaptor...)?

Hardware for the office (Mouse, keyboard...)?

Previous firm with similar structure was "expense anything as long as you need it to work"

Also, how do you introduce WFH policy if the partners are in the office almost everyday? You forget it? You ask directly if it would be an issue to WFH once a week? (During interviews it sounded like they were open-minded regarding WFH, but you want to give the best look when you join a team!)

I know it's just pointless details in contrast with the busy months ahead but that's also nice to work in the "best conditions"!

Thanks!
