Places to go this summer

Hey guys, so I got into an MBA program and I'm going to try and travel over the summer before the MBA starts. I want places I can do things during the day and then go out and party/have a good time.

I was thinking Europe, but I'd love to hear options in South America or Asia.

Places for Europe I'm considering:

Berlin again: Great place might be fun to go back
Prague
Munich
Belgrade
Somewhere in Croatia- haven't decided yet
Vilnius
Estonia- my friend lives here so Ill probably be going here no matter what
Saint Petersberg
Rome
Athens and Greek Islands
Montenegro
Krakow.

No way Ill hit them all so Ill have to narrow my list.

Heard Buenos Aires, Rio, Hong Kong, Thailand are also awesome but don't know much.

what's your goal? if it's getting ass and partying your tail off, brazil and colombia I hear are on point. AndyLouis can give you the best advice on south america, he lives/lived in buenos aires and I'm sure has travelled.

if it were me, I'd island hop around the south pacific or the caribbean, do all kinds of stuff like scuba, windsurfing, surfing, fishing, and then just drink and chill. not as much culture/history in those places as there is in europe, so if your idea of sightseeing is not looking at gorgeous beaches but rather museums and whatnot, I'd avoid that.

Check out Lisbon - underrated city in my opinion. Its also a good place to start if you want to hit some places in Spain like Barcelona or Madrid

Vietnam is amazing. Phillipines is good to visit for scuba diving, shark diving and such. Parties are good at both places. Filipino girls are more friendly and outgoing than Vietnamese girls. I went with 2 of my friends to both these places and they were fun. Vietnam has a backpackers district filled with bars, tourists, clubs and women. I would definitely recommend staying in a hostel for $5 a night (Vietnam).

If you fall down, make sure you get back up with a vengeance!

What kind of a vacation are you looking for? Nepal isn't bad if you like mountains etc. and stuff there is really cheap. If you haven't been there, I hear Australia/NZ are really cool and when else are you going to have the time off to make that flight worth it? You can also combine it with the South Pacific (my personal choice) to see some amazing pieces of paradise.

Been to Croatia twice. Absolutely 100% recommend Zrce Beach if you want to party and Plitvice Lakes National Park. The other places in Croatia are cool, but those places in particular are absolutely mind blowing.

Mexico City has cheap tickets in First on American pretty regularly, bout $700 RT, go out of JFK, LAX, or DFW and you get access to Flagship Dining too. NBD

I wear smoking slippers to work

One thing you can consider: going to Europe, getting a camper van, and traveling around in it. These can be either rented OR purchased and then sold at the end of your trip (what my friends did). It would be a means of transportation, give you a place to sleep at night AND give you a good story to tell the type of girl that will go home with you the same evening.

As for other places to consider seeing: +1 on Hamburg Zagreb (in addition to at least on of the coastal cities) +1 Lisbon Lagos Amsterdam Utrecht

Maybe it's just me, but I found Rome boring as shit. Barcelona was "meh" but I went during the tourist high season. Madrid was ok, but I hope you speak Spanish (ideally "Spain" not "Mexican") since people kept trying to rip my friend and I off. She is asian but lives in Spain - so they were shocked when she put them in their place.

Good luck and have fun!
