Social media rules in relationships?

I'm pretty inexperienced in relationships, so I could use some advice/perspectives here. When my girlfriend goes out, she kind of dresses on the provocative side. I trust her, but I feel uncomfortable about the fact that she posts these outfits on her insta, and there's always a bunch of thirsty guys in the comments. She tells me not to worry about it and that every girl deals with it, but idk. Is this something anyone else has faced in their relationship?

There's people who are having affairs while dressed like a nun the whole time infront of their spouse. The point is, if someone wants to cheat on you, they'll cheat on you regardless of what they wear or where they're going.

Be secured in yourself and in what you're worth. If you're still questioning the integrity of the relationship and of your partner, then may be there is something else going on and you may need to take a step back to re-evaluate the longevity of your relationship. May be it's that, deep down, you don't like her to go out without you, which is totally fine and there's people who will make you happy if you're that way.

I do hate to break this news to you. If you really questioned her about her outfit, then that's a really insecure thing to do. Girls are masters at reading these kind of insecurities and let me tell you, there's nothing less attractive to them than an insecure guy...

Being in a relationship takes work, but it's supposed to be fun and make you happy, not worried and have to think about shit like this.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I am a bit insecure, but it's not like I want her dressing like a nun. I guess its hard to explain if you don't see the pics but they're pretty slutty outfits, and if guys are that thirsty in the comments, I just wonder what they're like in the dms or when she's at clubs

Yeah dude get the fuck over that. Instead of coming from a place of insecurity you need to be proud that you got something worth taking a double take at on your arm. Girls who are pretty like that really can’t stand insecure guys that end up being pissed off when they’re hot lol…

Don’t mistrust her until she gives you a reason to. My only social media rule is to not obviously lead guys on in the DMs/explicitly flirt back - but otherwise we’re good

Depends on the frequency really

Going out Th/F/Sat every weekend, and posting thirst traps all 3 days? Fuck that

Going out once a month with mentally stable and wife quality girlfriends from college? Idc

If she shit tests you over some thirsty fuck in her comments, just agree and amplify with some shit like “hey ask if he can help out with the electric bill this month”

What you describe by itself isn't a dealbreaker or an issue for me personally.  It really depends on how she engages and responds to the attention she receives that then makes this either nothing to worry about or an issue.  But as others have advised, unless she has specifically given you red flags throughout all of this, please don't let the insecurities lead you to respond negatively.
