Taking PEDs?

Any thoughts on taking PEDs/anyone on them currently while working in high finance? Been contemplating starting a cycle next year once I start cutting weight. Would be interested to hear if anyone is and what your experience has been like while also working in PE/IB at the same time.

Tbh it makes no sense to take PEDs unless you are a high-level athlete or competing for bodybuilding. When using PEDs, it is essential to have your diet/training/sleep in check. Good luck doing that in IB/PE.

I would argue the opposite - if you’re a high level athlete, you shouldn’t be taking PEDs. Unless you’re a pro bodybuilder.

Guy I worked with told me about a cycle he did before we worked together. He said it fucked up his night vision and he was hesitant to go to the doctor because he didn't want to know what damage he had done to himself lol. Man had huge traps and delts though and mogged everyone in office

Very doubtful you'll have any big gains if you don't work out +2.5/3 hours a session and recover well (i.e. sleep 7-8h daily), something nearly impossible to do whilst working in IB/PE. Actually if you don't workout intensely, diet carefully, and rest well, these hormones will become estrogen. It could backfire so catastrophically bad.

Any retard here telling OP to go for it should stfu. This stuff will ruin your well-being forever.

Unless you're near peak physique/shape w/o steroids you're negatively impacting your health why exactly? Just to get bigger a bit faster? Seems incredibly short-sighted. Doing them while you're an ASO in PE with an unpredictable sleep schedule, workout schedule, stress levels, etc. just seems even more stupid when knowing how much structuring is needed to get the most out of a proper cycle.

How good are you at sticking to a diet? Have you done blood tests to understand how your body responds to stimulus and will metabolize different PEDs or are you following bro science from some forum?

Crazy amount of fear-mongering and misinformation here. Look into it. Assess the pros and cons. Done intelligently as a relatively low dose to begin with, the odds of you permanently affecting your long term health are low.

Isn’t the rule, once you start Test, you’ll have to always be on Test?

Dumb take. Steroids don’t work in a systematic way and there’s no way to predict their effects (negatives especially). It depends on the person.

Took addy in school, still barely passed. Turns out it just makes you focus on whatever you’re currently doing, wether that be studying, lifting, videogames or explaining to the cute girl from FR&A class what turing-completeness is.

God send. Come back and tell us how it went. Always rlly curious to see how gear would mesh with PE/ IB - you're unable to train and sleep properly to make the most of the cycle, but since you're motivated go for it and tell us

I would suggest that especially people in high stress jobs get their blood checked once or twice a year if you are in the right ranges on a broad level of metrics.. Your test levels are not only relevant for libido, muscle building but overall energy and mental well being. High stress, lack of sleep etc can all be bad for your test levels. TRT or other lifestyle changes could be beneficial if something is lacking.

I think a lot of people who are considering PED's are not even close to their natural genetic potential and should first make sure that training, eating is on point.

Educate yourself, and if you think the pros outweigh the cons, then go for it.

Keep in mind that regardless of any post cycle therapy you do, your natural test levels will probably never be the same as before you first started taking gear.

Anecdotally, I think a lot more guys are taking shit than you would assume (being their physiques are still completely unimpressive). I've been lifting for I think like 7 years or thereabouts (naturally), and I see it all the time with guys in the gym - I'm sorry but apart from the one in a million nobody is getting a 2 plate bench 3 months.

I've seen this happen multiple times throughout the years in the gym, some guys get huge quick, then generally taper off in size and strength when they inevitably cycle off.

I think the most important thing for you to consider is whether you love lifting enough. If you're an inexperienced lifter, I think it is beyond stupid to cycle on shit, especially because in a few years you might genuinely just get bored of lifting. I've definitely had 6-12 month periods where I just went through the motions and made no gains just as I was more focused on other shit in my life.

To summarize, unless you love lifting and can't see yourself doing anything else ever, don't do it. You can get huge naturally, it just takes a bit longer and you need to be more on point.
