Top IB offer but girls don’t care

I’ve been working my ass off over the past semester. Locked in my room, didn’t go to the gym, didn’t talk to my friends. I got a 2.9 GPA this semester bc of how little I cared about school.

I mean it paid off, I got a top EB offer (Q/CVP/GUGG/EVR) and feel so very deserving. I’ve finally be re-entering the girl and dating scene at school, the problem is girls could NOT care less.

They’ve never heard about the bank in their life, I have to spend the whole date justifying to them how good it is and I’m clearing $200k post-grad.

I think I’ve been coming off hardo and it’s difficult for me to go from 100 to 0 in terms of talking or thinking about finance.

Monkeys, serious question, how do I get some play to reward all my hard work?

You're better off trying to become more attractive, expanding your social circle, and maximizing your IG to start. Organize group trips: skiing, Coachella, yacht week, and F1. These trips cost money so if that's out of budget keep it local. Know the best restaurants and lounges in your area. If there's good clubs/bars know the bouncers and tip. You'll become a known presence. These cost way less than the above. What's even more affordable is to be close to whatever the dominant social group is on your campus for fun. Are the athletes the fun folks, is it greek life, or is some other group? Women aren't difficult lol. Really trying to help you Gen Z kids. Y'all have it pretty rough.

I doubt most will know Firm X from Firm Y, but there are definitely women who are exposed to if from a family member having the career. For what its worth, if they are exposed to it they understand that you will be working a lot, but they know what you are working towards (Lifestyle, Pride, etc.). This is what I actually found helped when dating and having someone who is willing to support the lifestyle.

Most women don’t even know what “finance” really is, forget investment banking. They hear banking and think of the respective branches…

Most (insert hot) girls in their early/mid/nowadays even late 20s truly care about traveling, eating at nice restaurants, and going to fun high-end events. Think all things fun.

You're currently positioning yourself to be the monkey they'll circle back to when they want to dine somewhere nice on someone else dime. Or even worse, they'll circle back when they've had their fun and now want to settle down. They won't care about you till they're 27 and their first friend just got engaged. And they don't want to be left out.

If you think sitting at a desk for >80hrs is sexy to these girls you've been playing the wrong game the whole time.

Do IB for you. Do it because you want to give yourself the best career outcome. Do it because you want that Rolex for yourself. Don't do it to flex or to garner interest from anyone in general.

The irony is that I’m going to a low-tier japanese bank and girls always seem super interested in it bc its foreign

you have to best position yourself for interviews (dates) and then convert them into offers (getting play) - telling them you're in investment banking definitely helps but you have to bring it up in a way that you don't come off as a hardo (usually best when they ask what ur major is) but also don't down play yourself either - its a different kind of marketing. Getting play is more about having big biceps than about what you'd be making 2 years down the line. Good luck! keep practicing your rizz.

Bro uni chicks care more about the things you neglected (fitness, socialization, school) than you getting an offer at Guggenheim, which 99/100 college girls don’t even know fucking exists btw. If all you really wanted was play should’ve spent more time at the gym and bars, and less time with the 400 question M&I!

I think they would be more impressed with what you can do for them with everything you've achieved (go to nice places, shopping or what not) and that will be different to most other grads in different fields who may not have achieved this salary yet. A real bonus is if you are also able to develop soft skills and communicate/relate to with them and make them feel good, which will then differentiate you from others in the field (incase they're dating your peers). Then, if you have also gym and are healthy, then I think you're going to be in the top picks. Good luck!

Whether you want to hear it or not, your success with women primarily comes down to how good looking you are. If you don’t believe me then look up these absolute crazed lunatics like Clavicular who say the most autistic stuff to girls in his videos and the hottest women still flock to him and say he’s so handsome and whatnot. He’s slept with tons of hot women and has a super hot gf. Any woman that’s with you for your job doesn’t have genuine attraction for you and just wants your money. Work on improving your facial and body aesthetics.

Prestige and money can only get you so far. Attraction is the most important factor in dating success.. secondary factors are only important if you clear the first loop

Never lead with money. Downplay ur role.. almost act contrary to what would be expected of you
