Hey Guys:
I am a UH UG Alumni with a Degree in Finance. I have been trying for sometime now to land a career in an IBD. I have not been so lucky and I feel like I keep running into a wall. I would like your opinions of UH's BS. I know they have improved but it doesn't seem people are noticing.
Are there firms that do take notice of UH's BS especially an IBD or a MM firm? I am also considering an MBA. What is the reputation of an UH MBA? I like the UT-H and Rice MBA's but price might be an issue plus UT-H's is a general MBA while UH's I can tailor to a more Financial MBA.

To the OP, to answer your question: I worked on Wall Street for a very long time and can not remember one instance of a University of Houston grad among the people I met, if that helps answer your question.
To be fair, you went to Colorado-Boulder, so nothing is impossible.
