WFH Monitor Size

I’ve been seeing an increasing amount of threads about WFH setups. I’ll be an incoming SA this summer and was looking at buying two monitors for my setup to also use for full-time too. I was recommended getting two 21.5 inch monitors but from what I’ve been reading on here it seems most people have two 24 or even two 27 inch monitors in their setup. My question is, for IB analysts, is two 21.5 inch monitors sufficient or does the extra screen real estate make a difference? I am more than happy spending a few extra dollars for a bigger screen size if it allows me to be more productive. Thanks again for your guys’ input.

It honestly doesn't matter. Anything above 21in with a good res and refresh rate will be fine. Once you start doing work on it you're not going to be caring every minute about if you got the right model or whatever

So as an incoming summer analyst and self proclaimed computer expert, I’d recommend getting a 27 inch 4K IPS monitor, 60hz. One I got was the LG27UL500. Best bang for buck specs wise. No speakers but obv you’d want to use headphones anyway.

Having 2 smaller monitors kind of hurts my neck cause I constantly look back and forth and if you want them both in front of you, the bezels take up a good amount of eye space.

I’m going to use the 27 inch monitor + have a laptop stand to use my laptop as a screen for emails.

If you plan on using the monitor for PC gaming, you may want to get a 1440p 144hz one, but they’re quite pricey if you want an IPS one.

Trust, I thought I was gonna go crazy and get a 32/34inch one too, but that is honestly way too big.
