Had both McDonald’s and kfc this past weekend. McDonald’s was awful, kfc was surprisingly solid
I like Popeye's sandwich the most, but to expand on your question my go to for chicken is actually KFC. Unpopular opinion but I don't really like Chick-Fil-A or Cane's that much. Chick-Fil-A has really good breakfast food though, just the regular chicken I'm not a huge fan on

I love Popeye's, but their spicy chicken sandwich sucks! it's just the regular chicken sandwich with a spicy sauce on it. Cannot compare to the spicy sandwiches from CFA and Wendy's. However, if you are comparing regular chicken sandwiches Popeye's is one of the better ones( when it's fresh).
I feel like Cane's chicken is inedible and bland without drenching it in their sauce. Still love it with the sauce tho

Popeye's all the way......however, I do love how Chick-fil-A has someone convinced an entire generation of white suburban soccer moms that their fries and fried chicken are healthier fast food.....great marketing.
