What should be done to address racial wealth inequality?

So I’ve seen that many people on this forum are not a fan of diversity programs. My question to you then is what else should be done by governments/companies to fix the issue of racial wealth inequality? Or should nothing be done and let the free market fix itself?

Fix the education system and end the war on drugs. If kids in poverty see going to school as a viable option for success and can't turn to the streets to make money off of selling drugs, they're bound to be a lot more successful. Having "diversity trainings" and acting like everyone is racist through microaggressions doesnt change shit and is a waste of time and energy

What should be done is more to help black and hispanic communities where people are born without realistic chances at making it to top universities and subsequently roles of power. Recruiting a half black house negro from Harvard that went to Taft and then plastering him all over the firm’s website isn’t addressing the root of the problem. Government likes to shift the blame to private institutions, but it’s a much larger social problem.
