What's the Point of Having Children?

A lot of you dumbasses want to have 3 kids, and pay millions of dollars over their lifetime for them to go to college, private schools, sports/clubs, medical needs, clothes, food, etc. What are you getting out of this? Seems like a waste of time/money/energy.

It’s an evolutionary/survival trait to want to have kids, if our ancestors thought like you none of us would be here. Plus you’re only thinking of the bad that comes with having kids, there is a lot of joy as well. Also I think having kids can be motivating for people to do better. Idk, maybe someone who has kids can give you a more intelligent answer.

What do you mean? Do you know how much the black market will pay for a healthy kid these days? The profit you make is insane.

Because children are so cuuuute and sweeeeet and entertaining to have around. Imagine having a bad day at work and then having a lil' bubba come home to and then, watching them grow and become an individual in their own right. I come from a big family (my dad has 4 brothers and 3 sisters & my mum has 3 brothers) I have so many cousins, I literally raised them. I plan on having at least 3, if not more.  If they are as expensive as you seem to think they are I better start saving now  or failing that, make sure I marry well hahaha
